  Bang Chang – Founder and CEO

Bang has 20 years of experience in the networked storage industry. Most recently Bang was the general manager of the Server & Storage business unit at SeaChange International. At SeaChange, Bang brought the industry’s first all flash server and caching solution to market and won the biggest cable and telco accounts. Prior to SeaChange Bang was a product line manager at EMC, responsible for the next generation storage architecture and strategic acquisitions. Bang holds a MBA from Duke University , a Master in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a BSEE from Univ. of Science & Technology in China.

AJ Beaverson – CTO and VP of Engineering

AJ has over 30 years experience in systems, networking and most recently storage. For the past 10 years he has been working in object storage, starting with virtual tape libraries at EMC.  He started a company, Juneau Technologies, whose product was a distributed object store / file system, which became the basis for Simplivity’s hyperconverged data center solution.  AJ has over 20 patents granted, half of which are in storage and deduplication technologies. AJ has a BA in chemistry from Gettysburg College.

Ken Chiquoine – Director of Engineering

Ken has 30 years experience in networking, multimedia, and storage clusters.  He spent 18 years at SeaChange working on the Media Cluster, UDP streaming, asset caching, which were widely deployed at the largest cable and telco operators in the world. Ken also led the development of block based storage clusters for medical data archives. Prior to SeaChange Ken worked at Digital in CSS, LeNAC, IVV, and then Alpha Personal System Multimedia group. Ken holds an M.S. in Computer Science from RPI and a BA in Philosophy and French from Hamilton College.
